Noahs’ Ark - Bar Mitzvah by Pascale
Rock the Ark with Eli! - a Noahs’ Ark themed Bar Mitzvah. As an event planner, my goal is to always create a unique and meaningful day for my clients, encouraging them to follow my lead as my imagination goes wild. I recently had the opportunity to orchestrate and host a Bar Mitzvah for a wonderful young man named Eli. Eli and his family were a great joy to work with and, together, we created an exciting and memorable event, choosing a Noah’s Ark theme. Beginning at the Synagogue, I designed a large floral and grass water immersed composition which was centered in front of the Bima. Alongside the flowers, I incorporated a beautiful hand-carved Noah’s Ark display, which was a family heirloom Eli had always treasured.  Click to enlarge
Moving on to the reception, I designed a special Noah’s Ark logo for Eli and incorporated it into the place cards and table number signs, as well as on the party favors for his guests, which were backpacks filled with personalized candy bars and animal print pens.

For the reception decor, I transformed the Hilton Embassy Suites ballroom into a dynamic themed space, carrying the Noah’s Ark idea throughout. The ceiling was draped with curtain tiers of falling rain and spectacular almost life size animal cutouts. Pairs of giant zebras, giraffes, tigers, peacocks and elephants were displayed in every corner of the room. Loose animal print balloons floating on the dance floor added to the wild and festive atmosphere.
