In November, C'est la Fête! traveled to New York to plan an “intimate wedding" for a mature, loving couple and 50 of their closest friends and family.  Click to enlarge
As always, making a wedding reflect the style and personality of the couple is key, and creating something unique and special for this particular bride and groom was especially fun for me!
The bride envisioned “a fun, Valentines Day-like love theme, with lots of hot pink accents”. Keeping that in mind, I created a whimsical, colorful, yet elegant wedding for her. The ceremony and reception were held at Xaviars X20, a spectacular restaurant located on a historic pier along the Hudson River in Yonkers. The tables are set with crisp, white linens, making the perfect clean palette to decorate! I added hot pink crinkled satin runners to create a dramatic color foundation for the centerpieces, round fish bowl vases filled with pearls, fairy lights and hot pink heart shape miniature cyclamen plants. Sprinkled rose petals, crystals and personalized heart candy-filled place-card boxes added to the charming romance theme! More... |
