Planning a Memorable Event from Pascale
Many times planning a memorable event means creating the perfect menu and a festive atmosphere, usually for a special family occasion. But sometimes planning the perfect event can mean successfully introducing a new business to the community.  Click to enlarge
We recently planned and hosted a gallery/studio opening for a local artist and as always, we wanted to create a perfect event for the artist and her guests. Inspired by the artist's contemporary paintings, we designed a black and white table theme, complementing the look and feel of the gallery space and her artwork.  Click to enlarge
Black dishes contrasted the glorious colors of pink shrimp and grapefruit salad, melon-prosciutto appetizers, bright green fresh pea and mint pesto crostinis, hot pink raspberry mousse desserts and black and white tuxedo cookies.  Click to enlarge
Creating a tall, vibrant floral centerpiece using colors from the displayed paintings in an architectural black vase tied the entire room together perfectly. I always choose to find seasonal cut flowers that are plentiful and accent both the venue and my menu. ~Pascale |
